Murder Etiquette
for Cops and Court Officials
~
The Soft Touch

So, you’re a big tough cop: defender of honest citizens and conqueror of evil deeds. Congratulations! And, a most heartfelt thank you.

Now, for a question: How do you measure up when it comes to dealing with those who walk through this particular murder with you? Are you still a hard-ass, hiding behind your badge?

Violent crime strikes unexpectedly, shattering the lives of all involved. There are those families who lose loved ones, and grieve for their loss, and there also the families of those accused and convicted of the crimes (occasionally wrongly) who also grieve. From either perspective, the grief is very real and the problem very severe.
